Most clients experience smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycle, hormones and lifestyle. Regular waxing often lengthens time between sessions as hair weakens. We recommend scheduling every four weeks for consistent maintenance and optimal results.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first visits, but our technicians use rapid techniques and soothing products to reduce pain. Breathing, relaxation, and repeated waxing sessions typically lower sensitivity over time. Topical numbing can be discussed if needed.

Trim to about ¼ inch if hair is very long; ideal length is 6-8 mm. Exfoliate gently 48 hours before, avoid sunburn and heavy lotions, and arrive with clean dry skin. Inform us of medications or skin conditions.

Waxing can lead to ingrown hairs for some, but proper exfoliation, moisturizing and post-wax care significantly reduce risks. Avoid tight clothing immediately after and use gentle exfoliation between sessions to keep follicles clear and healthy.

You may shower immediately with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, but avoid intense exercise, heavy sweating, saunas and hot tubs for 24–48 hours to prevent irritation. Follow aftercare instructions and apply soothing products as recommended.

Waxing is often safe, but sensitive or medicated skin requires assessment. Disclose topical retinoids, acne medications, blood thinners, or recent procedures. We perform a patch test and may advise alternatives if waxing isn’t suitable for your skin type.
