Get answers to common questions about Lash Tint.
Most Lash Tint results last four to six weeks depending on your natural lash growth cycle, skincare routine, and sun exposure. Touch-ups are recommended every four to six weeks to maintain color and definition, and a patch test is advised for first-time clients.
Lash Tint is generally safe when performed by trained technicians using gentle, ophthalmologist-tested dyes. We recommend a patch test for sensitive skin, and contact lens wearers should remove lenses during the service. If you have severe sensitivities, consult your eye doctor first.
We do not recommend tinting over eyelash extensions because dye and solutions can weaken the adhesive and damage extensions. Consider tinting natural lashes before extensions or scheduling a tint after extensions are removed for safest, most reliable results.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes — avoid mascara and oil-based cleansers beforehand. Bring contact lens case if needed and disclose allergies or recent eye treatments. A brief consultation and patch test will ensure the right shade and safety.
Technicians apply protective barrier creams to the eyelid skin to prevent staining. Dye is targeted to the lash hairs only, and any temporary smudging is removed during the service. Persistent skin staining is rare and fades with cleansing over several days.
Allow at least 24 hours before applying eye makeup to ensure the dye sets fully. Avoid oil-based products for 48 hours to prolong results. After this period, you can use mascara and other makeup as usual, taking care during removal.
